Have your preschoolers been enjoying our dinosaur activities this week? Today’s dinosaur printable is a dot-to-dot set!
This printable activity includes 4 different dinosaurs with dot-to-dot drawing on them! As your kids connect the dots, they are strengthening their fingers, practicing eye-hand coordination, reinforcing the concept of one-to-one correspondence (important for reading), and reviewing number identification and counting! Whew! That’s a lot for a little dot-to-dot!
And, of course, after they connect the dots they can color in the picture!! Try adding in some grass, butterflies, or a sun!
You can also put the pages in sheet protectors and use a dry-erase marker to connect the dots!
And remember you have ENDLESS options for coloring! Have you tried crayons, markers, colored pencils, chalk, and paint? Great! What about filling in small areas at a time with glue and then pasting yarn scraps, sand, or other small objects?!
